This is the Deep Sea Dreamer, the latest concept from automotive and marine designer Steve Kozloff. The US-based designer has created some of the most extravagant, dreamy superyachts, mega yachts and gigayachts.
His plan embodies a personal dream of his to explore the sea with his wife, Terry.
Built for extended missions, the Dreamer is equipped with a hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system consisting of two Cummins engines, an electric motor and 10 directional thrusters.
It can dive up to 328 feet underwater and is made entirely of steel.
During long voyages, the vessel travels just below the waterline.
The submarine has an estimated cruising speed of 6 knots, a top speed of 10 knots and a range of 6,000 miles.
The sub can also remain firmly positioned on the ocean for up to seven days, with built-in batteries providing power for the week.
When the vessel is above water, the expansive 2,447 square foot deck offers plenty of space for relaxing and entertaining.
The interior includes an elegant dining room, a galley and a spacious living room.
It also includes a master suite with en-suite bathroom and ample wardrobe space, two guest cabins and crew quarters.
In the dining room it has a white piano so that guests can enjoy live music with a view of the sea while they eat.
The Deep Sea Dreamer is and remains a concept of an all-weather submarine with an elevator and an observation deck, and the cost of its implementation is 275 million dollars.
