The latest delight for billionaires is in a completely different category and dives to a maximum depth of 250 meters. Because this is an underwater superyacht. Thanks to its double outer casing and various safety systems, it should always return to the surface:
The world's first underwater superyacht is called the M5-165M! The number 165 represents the impressive length in meters. By comparison, the longest submarine in service with the German Navy is only 56 meters long.
The billionaire underwater yacht offers plenty of space for up to 20 passengers and 40 crew members.
Ideal for travel in all weather conditions and to all parts of the world up to the arctic glaciers due to the possibility of diving.
Exactly what is installed on the mega submarine to entertain passengers and provide first-class comfort is, of course, determined by the buyer. Swimming pool, wine cellar, cinema, tender garage during shore stops and much more.
More than 1000 square meters are available on the superyacht underwater.
The cost of this exclusive marine entertainment is about two billion US dollars (1.85 billion euros), according to estimates by engineers of the Austrian boat manufacturer Migaloo.
The M5-165M has not yet been manufactured.
If an interested party appears, Migaloo will take care of the implementation of the project according to the plans and advise the buyer in the choice of an experienced German superyacht shipyard.
Christian Gumpold, CEO and founder of Migaloo, suspects that market needs will soon create a trend towards luxury submarines:
