Oceanco has teamed up with design firm Mario Biferali Yacht Design (MBYD) to unveil the 150m conversion 'Nacht®' concept Project Antos during the Monaco Yacht Show 2024. The new project combines the functionality of commercial yachts, with the yachting luxury to create a unique and functional design.

It took its name from the ancient Greek word for flower, Antos, to mark the beginning of the transformation of this cargo ship into a yacht.

With an estimated internal volume of 10,630 GT, Project Antos aims to retain the simplicity and purity of its past life as a container ship, while adopting an extensive new layout to improve life on board. Characterized by a sleek and modern profile, it features an elongated superstructure, with clean, sharp lines enhanced by its large cut-out windows. Its defining feature is its central tower, which rises above the deck to create a functional and aesthetic centerpiece, reminiscent of its maritime heritage. The Project Antos tower serves as the owner's private retreat, offering 360-degree views and access to an exclusive sun deck. The rest of the accommodation consists of VIP suites and guest cabins, while child and nanny cabins can be connected, with a play area and media room providing additional entertainment.

The yacht also provides plenty of space for the crew, with accommodation for 54 crew members in 27 cabins. The captain is housed in a private cabin on the bridge deck, ensuring the highest level of service for both owner and guests. When it comes to the exterior, the Project Antos is divided into distinct areas, with the front part configured for entertainment. The deck includes a helipad for large helicopters, wind-sheltered sports courts, an expansive plinth-raised pool, a double sit-up bar and plenty of lounging areas.

According to designer Mario Biferali, Project Antos has been designed with today's yacht owners in mind, offering a wide range of amenities on board. These include a gym, double-height sports pitch, pilates and yoga room, as well as a fully equipped wellness area with sauna, hammam, beauty salon and treatment rooms.

The yacht also includes a cinema and media room for evening entertainment, with multiple living spaces adaptable for purposes such as scientific research, telecommuting or philanthropic activities.

A really very innovative idea that gives more possibilities to the yachting area, using as a base the cargo ship that has plenty of space and can travel all the seas with the luxury and all the comforts of a superyacht!
