Enhanced Volume and Space
This new model offers increased volume, more usable interior and exterior spaces, extended deck areas, and a longer overall length. These enhancements provide additional comfort and ensure that the yacht's design is optimized for both leisure and practicality.
The exterior design of the Classic 42 has been crafted by VYD Studio, while the naval architecture is attributed to Arrabito Naval Architects. The series is planned to be constructed in steel and aluminium, although the shipyard for the build is yet to be announced.
Rear Covered Infinity Pool and Convertible Beach Club
A key feature of the Classic 42 is the rear covered infinity pool, integrated with a convertible beach club. This area can be configured to suit different needs:
Closed Position: During long passages, the illuminated pool is concealed beneath a teak deck, creating a versatile and secure space.
Open Position: The deck reveals the infinity pool and extends aft to form a beach club, offering a luxurious setting for relaxation and entertainment.
The Classic 42 is designed with a focus on lifestyle, incorporating features such as a flybridge jacuzzi, sun loungers, and a large sunbed on the bow. The upper deck is equipped for al fresco dining, while a tender garage ensures easy access to auxiliary vessels and equipment.
While retaining the oceangoing capabilities and robust steel and aluminium construction typical of Explorer yachts, the Classic 42 maximizes volume and space efficiency. This balance ensures the yacht remains both functional and elegant, appealing to a wide range of yacht enthusiasts.
Part of the Atlante Lineage
The Classic 42 builds upon the success of the Atlante Classic 35, a smaller model in the range currently under construction at Mengi Yay's shipyard in Tuzla, Turkey. The first 35-meter unit is set to be delivered to an experienced Northern European owner in spring 2025. The new Classic 42 expands on this foundation, offering additional features and increased functionality.
